My interests lie in the natural world and human history, science and universal mythologies. My work is a celebration of the mystery of life and death, thus reflecting the duality of existence in my artistic creations. Within my imagery there are repeated themes of organic forms, spiraling movement, nocturnal-dream-like imagery, illuminations and darkened portals.
My current body of work consists of paintings, drawings and sculpture. The paintings are oil, acrylic or gouache on panel or paper. The drawings are created using graphite, aquarelle graphite and watercolor pencils. The sculptures are hand-built with low-fire clay.
